Multiply any two-digit number by eleven
Let’s begin.
Consider the problem:
35 X 11
To solve this problem, simply add the digits, 3 + 5 = 8, put the 8 between the 3 and the 5, and there is your answer:
385
Suppose the problem is
84 X 11
Although 8+4=12, here the sum of two digits is in double digits, so the answer is NOT 8124!
As before, the 2 goes in between the numbers, but the 1 needs to be added to the 8 to get the correct answer:
924
With even more practice, you will be able to perform many calculations faster than someone using a calculator.
